Very nice explanation of the liberation (Mukti)
Sometimes all we have to do is go for it! And that’s what I did by joining the Peace Revolution program. At that point of my life, words like ‘meditation’, ‘inner peace’, and ‘self-development’ felt so right. I just thought it was time to do something special for myself. The ‘Peace In, Peace Out’ concept meant something to me. The whole thing was making sense. The program was well designed that kept me going. I enjoyed my daily commitment to meditation. The highlight of it all was having a coach who cares about me. This made me smile.
Meditation became a part of my life and I started describing it in so many ways. It became my muse and I became a traveler. One day I was on the top of a mountain and the next day I was swimming in the ocean with dolphins. I was surrounded by my imaginations and Sabai feelings that I almost forgot about the fellowship. Then the good news came. I was selected to participate in the fellowship in Thailand where the real magic happened. 31 peace rebels came together to go through the training of becoming peace agents at a place located on a small island.
For 2 weeks I tried a new lifestyle which was far away from my routine and comfort zone. But here I was, simply blessed, witnessing the sunshine and the sunset every day wondering about the last time I watched them. Did I enjoyed watching them? Did I appreciated them? There were certain locations on this beautiful island that I loved. Such as the lovely Avatar tree that brought life to my meditation. Another location was the spectacular scenic viewpoint that gave us the sun and the moon at the same time. This special place on earth, together with the lovely and good natured people, made my meditation experience very pleasant.
The retreat space is a place to be united with my true self and a place to remember. During the self development program, I struggled with the forgiveness part the most. But I eventually did it after forcing myself. At the island I didn’t struggle anymore. Not only did I forgave others, but I also forgave myself. Spreading Love and Kindness and being surrounded with everyone’s smile at the island, helped me to connect more to my human side, transforming me from someone who was indifferent to someone who cares. Thank you all for being there. It meant the world to me.
